Crews battle fire at former K-Mart building at MacDade Mall in Ridley Township, Delaware County

RIDLEY TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a blaze at the MacDade Mall in Ridley Township, Delaware County, early Wednesday morning.

The fire erupted on the roof of the closed K-Mart store at around 12:30 a.m.

Smoke and flames could be seen pouring from the roof as firefighters worked to get it under control.

The building was under renovation at the time of the fire.

There are no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
